Recent acquisition came with these presentation stocks. Not horrible but the left panel has some flaking of the finish. Not sure if this finish is even factory. Not a huge fan of the high gloss plastic appearance. Should I strip this off? If so, using what? What to refinish with? Leave them alone?

I know the frame sizes are different but can the barrels from a 27 and 19 be swapped? If its evewn possible, would it be a factory appearing transition point from frame to barrel or would it look like bubba has his way with it?

Is there any fitting needed to properly swap from a standard trigger / hammer to the wider target versions or is it simple remove and replace? Is there any different steps necessary if the parts going in are NOS or prior used?
