Reloading .308 with match and game bullets

I have since delved into the world of reloading after much research. I have a Hornady Lock and Load single press and a Dillon RL550B. I will be loading my .308 on the single stage as I am particular about quality control. I have purchased Lapua Brass, Sierra 165gr game king soft point and 175gr...

    Grip issue

I have a 681 and a 586. The 681 has hogue mono grips and the 586 has the original target stocks. Both are the same frame. One issue. My hogue grips fit on the 586 better than the 681 and the target stocks won't fit on my 681. I don't think that the grip itself if torqued out of alignment, but...

    The unthinkable happened...

A month or so ago, my fiancé and I were just relaxing on the couch surfing the web and watching tv after we both got off work. I was cruising through the rather boring flips of Facebook when I stumbled across an ad that read, "The Natural State Wedding Sweepstakes." I thought for a minute and...

I have a potential revolver purchase and I wanted to know what you guys thought.

All I know of right now is that it's a model 36 no dash that dated to early 1973 or so. Serial number J112674. Fellow says its in good condition with a tad of rust on the right side of gun. I would think behind the cylinder. Look at these photos and let me know what I should or should not pay...

How to make a photo album?

I was wondering how you made a personal photo album on your profile and made it for public view. I have seen some on personal profiles and I was wondering how to make one of my own.

    Factory re-nickel finish

I own a Nickel plated 19-4 snub nose and its in great shape. Definitely signs of use and carry, but not worn, gouged, or any slight signs of abuse. In 36 years the gun still looks brand new to the not so close eye, but upon closer inspection, there are scratches. Is it possible to send the...

RIA 1911 to trade for a 586 no dash

I have a fellow that I have been dealing with that has a near mint safe queen 586 no dash. I offered him my Rock Island Armory Tactical 1911. I have hand polished it trying to get ready to blue it, but just haven't done it yet. I offered it to him saying it does need to be refinished and it can...

Type of .357 for my model 19-4

After I acquired my model 19-4, I have been doing some research regarding the type of .357 loads are suitable to shoot without causing harm to any of the guns components. My search found that the flat area cut into the 6 o'clock position on the forcing cone is prone or capable of cracking under...

    Getting my third S&W revolver. 19-4 2 1/2"

I can't post photos from my phone until I get home, but I posted on Facebook and made a search for post for 4" or shorter S&W revolvers on a local gun group. After a couple days a fellow said he had a .357 2 1/2 inch. Turns out its a very nice condition 19-4. He and I negotiated and I got him to...
