Can anyone direct me a good machine shop that does milling on 1911 slides to install a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro red dot sight. The ones I have contacted seem to only do M&P or Glocks. Thanks

Looking to install a red dot on my NON CORE M&P 40. Thinking at the Deltapont Pro on a dovetail mount with the optional rear sight. My question does anyone have an idea what height front sight will need to co-witness. Thinking .300 or so should work Thanks in advance.

Some observations from my reloading experience the 40 S/W. After playing around with different powders like Red Dot, WSF, WST, TiteGroup and Bullseye I have found that the powder I like the best for reloading the 40 S/W is WST, second would be TiteGroup and third would be WSF.

Anyone using WSF to reload the 40 s/w. Would like to try some loads with 170 laser cast lead SWC. Any recommendations.

Question to the reloaders out there. Have been using Reddot & Bullseye for my 45 ACP reloads and there is no smoke with the loads. But when I load my 40 S/W with Reddot & Bullseye the loads are very smoky. ANy thoughts? Trying to find some Titegroup but there is none to be found. Thanks in advance.

Was wondering if anyone is using Red Dot powder for reloading the 40 S/W. I use it in my 45ACP and have had very good results with it. Will be loading up some target/plinking rounds 165 Rainer & 170 lasercast. Have done some load using Bullseye but now running low. The other powder I hear works...

Just pull the trigger and purchased a brand new M&P40 full size w/safety for a great price. It was a hard choice between this gun & a Glock G23. Got to shot both guns but final determining factor was price. :)

On the fence as which 40 to purchase. Have shot my buddies M&P40C but was not crazy about the short grip. So looking at the full size M&P40 or SD40VE and maybe a Glock 23. I am looking for a carry gun and a range gun as I am getting into action pistol this summer. Any thoughts, Thanks in advance.
