    Model 60 Date check

I'd appreciate it if someone with S&W catalog would check the mfg date of a model 60 I'm looking at. The S/N is BAB6304.

**SOLD** K22 Cylinder Reaming "Kit" $50 shipped

Those of you that have K22 revolvers know that they're notorious for having very tight chambers, to the point that extraction is very difficult. The fix is to finish ream the cylinders as shown in the thread below...

    Model 10 Grips

I recently bought a set of used "K-frame" grips for my 1979 Model 10. They don't seem to fit very well. The wood is "hanging over" the metal at the top and on the forward side of the grip. Is it possible that these are actually N-frame grips?

    10-7 Cylinder sticks

I just picked up a used 10-7 4" in nickel. I've noticed that the cylinder won't open when one particular chamber is in the firing position. The cylinder opens normally when any of the other 5 are in the firing position. I've checked the ejector rod and made sure it's tight. Lock-up is tight...

    Model 15 Date Check

I'm looking at a nice 4" model 15-3 and I'm trying to figure out if it's old enough to be C&R. Serial number is K996628. If anyone can give me a year of manufacture, it would be appreciated.

    5906 Manufacture Date

I picked up a 5906 recently and have been trying to figure out when it was made. I found a first edition Std Catalog of S&W, but it doesn't show my prefix (TESXXXX). If someone has a newer version, I'd appreciate a quick look to see when my gun was made. Thanks!

    3rd Gen Club

Can I join the club? I picked up a 5906 last week and had the opportunity to get it out to the range this past weekend. I don't know why I waited so long to get one!!! A truly OUTSTANDING firearm! I enjoyed shooting it more than any other hand gun I've had the chance to fire. I thought long...

    My 5906 & a question

Just picked up this 5906. I've been looking for one for a while and this one caught my eye. I haven't fired it yet, but I can already tell I'm going to like her a lot. It was a police trade-in and looks not to have been fired very much, but she was filthy. I don't think the grips had ever...

    Opinions on 1905 4th change

I'm looking at a 1905 4th change in nickel. Asking price is $450. Is that reasonable for this gun? S/N is 429XXX

What's the correct Naval Aviatior revolver?

I'm a retired Navy helicopter pilot ('86-'06) curious to find out what gun I would have been issued IF they ever issued one to me. There was a gun pocket in our survival vest that was clearly designed for a short barreled revolver. I know the gunner's mates had guns for us, but I never...

    Model 10/64 Trade-in

A gun shop near me has just received some Mod 10's and 64's as police or security company trade-ins. I'm going to go take a look at them, and was wondering if there's anything specific to look for (other than obvious wear and tear). I don't know how old they are. The 10's are priced at $230...
