    Just picked up a 629-6 (Power Port) today with box, papers, fired cartridge included. Now for the question: On the box end the letter are: 06-A2-LG-GR-BP-SA-SP-FS-CS-ZS. Can anyone explain these codes? I know I have a 629 with a 6 1/2" barrel and power port with rubber grips. All info...

    Looking at a 64-5 S&W 4" barrel. Couple of questions. It has the new style cylinder release, does anyone know when S&W switched to the new style. #2 Does anyone know if this revolver is +P capable/safe. Thanks all. Love this forum, very informative.

    Model 64-5 value

    Looking at a Model 64-5 4" barrel with S&W panel grips. Grips and finish are in good condition. Action is smooth and lockup tight. Any ideas as to price/value. Gun is in N.C. Thanks all.
