I shot my new Shield to qualify for CCP class yesterday. It ran perfect.... not a single hitch. Had already ran 400 rnds through it without any problems except for a few times the slide failed to lock back after last shot early on and has not done it anymore. I am so impressed with this little gem.

Got a Shield 9 on lay-away... hope to complete the purchase soon. Will be the first S&W I have ever owned. Can't wait to shoot it! I used to shoot a lot in the 90's, but not much the last 10 yrs or so. Planning on getting my CCP soon and needed a smaller lighter pistol to carry than any I have...
