I've seen references to the change from RH to LH threads on the extractor rod and that there is a visual tell on the rod. Can someone explain this or better yet pictures of the difference.

Got the bug to put a Reddot on my 629. Looking for advice on best Picatinny mount base. Any does or don't, I would think it's a pretty straight forward mount up.

I've have a 10-8, serial # 3D37###. I looked it up in the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson #4 and there appears to be a gap. For the Model 10 it lists 2D##### which is 1978 then goes to 4D#### listed for 1979. No 3D##### range of numbers. Anyone?

Just bought a very nice set of Target Stocks from another forum member. Thanks Phil0071. Put them on my K22 birth year gun. The grips that came with it are not numbered to the gun, so no loss there. Big improvement IMHO. Posted are the before and after pics.
