I am looking to install a reflex red dot on my semi auto handgun.....i'm looking at the Vortex Venom ($179 on Amazon), on the high end and on the low end the sightmark mini shot ($56 on Amazon).... I would like to know, since i am not familiar with reflex red dots, what makes to Vortex better...

hi....first post on the forum and new owner(like Wednesday) of a 15-22.....this is my first ever rifle owned (except when I was in the military, then they were like a rental and free, yea right!!)....anyway.....being located in NJ, you can imagine the joys of owning something in the AR...
