    Monstermuley24 is A+

@Monstermuley24 was a pleasure to do business with. He shipped quickly and included a gun sock and rug that was totally unexpected. I would buy from him again!

New holster needs a snap moved.

I picked up this Bucheimer Clark Detective model number 835A-24 today. I was able to get it out the door for under $20 and have a couple 4” K-frames that fit in it nicely, a 17-6 and a 19-4. Unfortunately, the snap is in the lower hole in the retention strap and won’t snap over either hammer...

My Grandfather’s prewar .32 Regulation Police

I visited my mother for Thanksgiving and she gave me her father‘s old pistol that she had been holding onto. It’s a pre-war .32 Regulation Police, serial #4516XX. It is in great shape other than having some Hogue grips on it. Now the hunt begins for what looks to be some unique to this model...

Something that won’t wake the neighbors.

I found a nice Ruger Mark II at my LGS for a great price and added a Tactical Solutions upper for my Dead Air Mask. I’m going shooting with my daughter for Father’s Day and can’t wait.

    Nice 17-6 find

I picked up a very nice 4 inch 17-6 this morning from a LGS in a neighboring town. It’s an early 17-6 with no underlug (looks very much like a model 18). According to the 4th edition SCSW, “some early 17-6’s reported without full lug”. I have no idea if there are few enough to make this a rare...

Does anybody know anything about the maker of this rig?

I have had this holster and belt for many years. It has a maker’s stamp on it that says Leon Petersen. He does nice work and I can’t find any info about him. Are any of you familiar with him?

    A couple of nice acquisitions.

This afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting up with @crazyphil to pick up a few holsters that he was selling. First one is a beautiful Hunter 55L that looks great on my Series 80. The second one was an an Oliver Ball that looks great on my Model 19. I got home and realized that my new...

    crazyphil not so crazy

I just had the pleasure of meeting @crazyphil FTF to buy two holsters. It was a very pleasant transaction and the holsters were even nicer than they looked in the pictures. Thank you Phil!

    Questions about my latest find.

I bought this 19-6 today and am trying to figure out if it’s all original. It has a product code of 100705 and a BHB serial prefix. The SCSW says the RB 100705 was made 1996-99, but the appendix says BHB is 1991. Maybe I’m just struggling with the feature codes. My big question is about the...

Picked up a nice one today.

I have been making regular rounds of the LGS’s in the area for a while looking for a model 15. Today I was on the way home from the airport and stopped in a local shop and found this baby for a nice price. It’s a pre-14 1952 five screw K-38 Target Masterpiece. Serial number is K164XXX and...
