    revolver tuning

the other day I followed down a path form a post here that led me to HEFFRON PRECISION and I spent a pleasant time reading about the new Colt Python revolvers. I don't have any colt revolvers, kind of avoiding them because of the claims that, while capable of wonderfully smooth actions, that...

this my old much documented lee perfect powder measure. today i needed a few 200 gr coated LSWC .45's to test in my new CMP 1911.. I had a tiny bit of 321 left in it's can and decided it would be fun to see just how far down the Lee would drop accurate measures. well. after weighing 65...

    lee perfect powder measure

25 years I have hated the adjustment screw and cursed it every time I changed from 45 grains of Varget to 5 grains of unique. finally last night the light bulb went off. 1/2" of broomstick handle, appropriate hole centered in broomstick, little gob of Goop glue to lock it in place.

9mm fired but still primed brass weight

10 weighed 1.3 oz on the wife's kitchen scale(she was busy elsewhere) so that means my plastic leftover storage box holds 300 pieces. You all may already know that, but I am posting it so when i forget, I can come here and find that out:D
