I have recently read that you can get a special cylinder for a 686 that has been machined to accept full moon clips. This being true, are the clips then required for proper firing/extracting, or can the rounds be fired and extracted one by one as usual as well?

I've been looking at this model and have heard that it does not require full or half moon clips for the 10mm or the .40 caliber. If someone could shed some light on this, or any other information on this gun, it would be greatly appreciated!

If she still wants to roll with a .380, I would go the route of a Sig p232 or Beretta 84 Cheetah. Or step up to a 9mm and go with a Sig p239 or a Glock 26. Bersa makes a neat little gun but, as you previously remarked, I wouldn't carry one myself to trust my life with. Or just tell her to suck...

Does anyone know about the corrosion/rust resistance of any of the Airlite revolvers? Looking into getting one, and it is a concern because I will be hiking/backpacking with it. It will be exposed to my sweat and the elements. Thanks!
