FWIW, I measured mine yesterday: 0.043 - 0.045 in. was the bolt face recess depth I measured. I think I should be good. Waiting on the S&W gauge to confirm.

Hello fellas, I'm shopping for a 15-22 and spoke with a couple local shops in the Pittsburgh area. Field and Stream store told me changes were coming for 2016 "retooling" he said, and another shop, Anthony Arms, said something similar. Has anyone else heard about this? Thanks!

642 I carry my 642 all the time! You might find the +P ammo to have significant recoil - but it's really not that bad. One trip to the range, I fired 200 rounds of 158gr +P ammo and ended up with a sore hand. As far as other ammo? That gun will fire ANYTHING.......

Isn't heavy trigger pull an issue with vitually ALL rim-fire revolvers - kind of nature of the beast? I know the Taurus M94 .22lr trigger pull is very heavy in DA. I kind of expect this from the 317 as well...
