Suggestions for long term email service…

Getting ready to pull the plug on a legacy phone company that has provided my primary email address for decades. Looking for suggestions for a good, free, long term alternative. Appreciate your suggestions.

    Old Kemon Squeezer

It’s a cross breed fruit from the kumquat and lemon. Very unique flavor! But, rather rare and expensive. 😊

Police get a new tool to stop drivers: Beware the Grappler!

I believe that the Finnish experimented with a harpoon device! Now that would be amusing. Wonder if that’s what inspired this device.

    Just Some Idle Thoughts

Carbide is what cutting tools are made from. Precision machining carbide to the typical contours of a rifle cartridge is possible but very expensive. Carbide may not eliminate the need for lubricants. The taper on rifle cartridges would likely cause sticking. Not unlike the Morse taper on...

Need help with 10-7 revolver, cannot load shells.

The chamber restrictors seems plausible. But, he said rounds will chamber with the ejector star removed. That’s what’s curious. Misfitted ejector? Said the revolver is chrome plated, Plating build up?

Need help with 10-7 revolver, cannot load shells.

That’s a rather odd problem as you describe it. Is there any visual evidence that the extractor isn’t properly aligned with the cylinder charger holes? Can you post pictures? Have you tried different brands or types of ammo?

    .380 / 9mm

Yes, as others have said. Same diameter but typically lighter weight. Usually in the 90-95 grain range.

Never saw the Chevy-Walter ad before. I like that one. Even better than the cat herding.

Vacuum Sealing Ammo: Yae or Nae?

For general storage, I don’t think it’s necessary or worth the effort. In the other hand, for storage in your vehicle, boat, airplane, camping trip or other situation that may expose the ammo to water, high humidity or other adverse conditions, it might be a good precaution.

Dragons Breath 12 Gauge Incendiary Rounds

A bit off topic. But, speaking of bonfires…. Back when I was in Jr High, we lived in a neighborhood still undergoing development. On a waterfront cul de sac was a cluster of three empty lots. In the weeks after Christmas, we scoured the neighborhood for discarded Christmas trees and piled...

Dragons Breath 12 Gauge Incendiary Rounds

You raise a good question. I’m not sure the current offerings are quite as intense as the original product. I have some I purchased when they first came available. They are quite spectacular. The ones I’ve seen fired more recently just aren’t the same.

Dragons Breath 12 Gauge Incendiary Rounds

Looks like an impressive way to start festivities! I’ve fired a few. Just be sure you’re on target.

    9mm ammo deal

I'm an avid reloader. But not 9mm except for unusual applications. Just the current price of a Winchester primer and a Berry’s 9mm bullet is about the same price as a live loaded round. And NO! I'm not interested in casting my own bullets!

    Aluminum Case Ammo

It was supposed to be less expensive. But, it doesn’t seem to have made a significant difference compared to similar brass cased basic practice ammo. Some guns don’t handle it well. Same can be said for steel case ammo. Hard to predict without testing. Sometimes ejection issues. Some...

    Garage Sale Drought

There use to be frequent weekend garage sales where I live. Most have dried up. Talking to neighbors about it. Primary reason being people are disgusted by garage sale shoppers behavior. Showing up excessively early and disrupting efforts to set up. Offering ridiculous prices for obviously...

    Regent Sea Glider

It’s a WIG. Wing In Ground effect. Technically not an aircraft. No pilot license required. Also at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of right of way under maritime rules. Been a lot of variations over the years. Russians even had some huge military ones for a while. Concept never really...

    Centennial and the Bodyguard

I’m disappointed at how “off the rails” this discussion has become regarding the original posters request. He simply wants the front sights on two favorite revolvers to match. Usually this board is pretty good at helping people achieve their goals. The irrelevant pontificating is disappointing.
