    Caliber Information

I still believe the 40 S&W is a great self defense caliber. In a world full of compromising, this makes sense to me. I was having a particularly good range day with my full size M&P 40 so I ended by going to the rifle range and shot some at 100 yards and went home really happy. I was using the...

No more Bullseye! What are you switching to?

I went to Titegroup long ago, useful in every pistol caliber I shoot. 380 to 44 Mag. You just can't use it for magnum velocities. It is inexpensive and a little goes a long ways. I'm sure I have burnt over 25 pounds over the years.

625-6 MT Gun 45 ACP ? yes no maybe?

I have never had the mountain gun in 45acp. I did have one in 45 Colt but had to sell it when I needed a truck. I do still have a bunch in 45acp which is my preference. I say buy it if you can.

    Model 29 for concealed carry?

I carry this 3" 629 when in the Rockies or Alaska. Sometimes around home to becouse it is my all time favorite gun ever. For IWB I have this Lobo with a hammer shield, necessary for us fat guys. For OWB I have this open bottom that is great becouse I have N frames from 2" to 6.5" and it works...

How do you actually enjoy a Magnum caliber revolver?

For me the only way to be happy with magnum revolvers is to make custom hand loads and have different weight revolvers. My favorite gun ever is this 3" 44 magnum that I have smoothed and lightened. I have had more than a few 44s and when younger was amazed at how much power I could squeeze out...

    Plinking Fun Chinese SKS

I bought a pair of what is commonly called Paratrooper quite a few years ago for about $120 each. Fun to shoot, loud AF! A friend gave me a much larger version with a bayonet and a fixed magazine 20 years later. For that kind of money I may let one of the small ones go! As you can see in...

A Trip To The Local Pot Shop

I have always worried about it showing up in my urine. I get wizz quizzed more now at the VA than I ever did while on active duty. I have 1 prescription that is restricted that I don't want to live without, I think they would like to label me an abuser to stop the med. I haven't even drank...

    Smith & Wesson 1854 Lever Action 44 Magnum - S&W "support"

I have fire lapped quite a few with the wheeler kit also. I feel like it always helped especially rough barrels that snagged lead.

What's the most reliable vehicle you've owned?

I have done a few 1000 mile days with it. No worse than my wife Camry. Once I went to Florida to trade generators with my dad after his got submerged in a hurricane. I had the generator in the back and still had room for a single air mattress to sleep on so I didn't have to get a room. I've had...

I thought that the price of using a credit/debit card was the interest payed.

Thank you but it is just business. I do run this business to give the best service possible and fix any and all problems. I started this portrait business in 1988 and struggled for years. It started paying off after about 10 years and now is a nice family run money maker. And I love doing it...

What's the most reliable vehicle you've owned?

Nobody wants to know about a Prius but my 09 has 180,000 miles and the only things replaced were tires, windshield wipers and the 12 volt battery. I have 2 Ford trucks a F-350 and F-550 a motorcycle and another car so I'm not a wierd tree hugger but I have to drive photo equipment to NYC +...

I thought that the price of using a credit/debit card was the interest payed.

I own a small business. We accept MC, VISA + DISCOVER. They all charge us 2.5 - 3%. I eat that charge. American Express on the other hand charges us 5% so I won't accept them. Another fun thing with credit cards is when the customer stops payment on the card becouse they don't remember ever...
