    Alternative to Jordan Trooper stocks.

Your post made me look on their website, they do list Jordan stocks for square butt N frames under their custom section.

    M64-3

I think the price is a bit high for most places, but since you don't list your state, it's hard to be definitive.

OP - what gun were you shooting?

Let's talk Turkey....as in made in Turkey

Mr. Glock used to employ a lot of Turkish workers at his Austrian factory for cheaper labor costs. They probably learned a thing or two. :)

Let's talk Turkey....as in made in Turkey

If you had told me two or three years ago that I would own a gun made in Turkey, I would have silently thought you were a little short on good sense. Now I own two Canik Rivals, which I find superior products, and a Girsan High-Power clone; I can't remember all the alphanumeric codes these...

    High Grade Smith and Wesson

They can; but don't because not too many people want to pay that much for show.

IDPA has just banned Sig P320 pistols from competition

I always like a link in a post like this, say to the IDPA announcement. That's because I'm lazy and don't want to search, and I'm from the Missouri part of North Carolina. ;)

It's hard to say without knowing more about your setup. Sometimes you can change the aspect ratio to fit the screen.

New question when entering the country

Steve, don't you ever watch the TV show Contraband: Seized at the Border? Sometimes entertaining. Like most of its type I mute it and use closed captioning so I don't have to listen to loud, bad, "music" and dialogue at the same time. I think it was the last new where episode they caught a...

Sold/Withdrawn "The Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum" book by Bill Cross & Roy Jinks

2019 book about the 44 magnum for sale. If there is a future second printing, I figure this first edition will be worth one million dollars by 2525. This is a spare copy I have, it's never been fully opened, and is signed on the inside front cover by Mr. Cross. $45.00 shipped, personal check...

    Browning B92 vs Rossi R92.

No idea, but I never stored a gun with the pad on. Just a guess, I used to have a Winchester 94 .30-30 Centennial with a rifle buttplate you could have used to cut firewood. I had to be really careful about putting it far out enough on my shoulder that it didn't dig into my bod. The pad I...

    Browning B92 vs Rossi R92.

For those interested in recoil pads. Galco makes one that uses velco to wrap around the end of the buttstock. I have one - somewhere - that I used to use on Browning 1886 Lightweight. It worked well, and no permanent alteration of the rifle. As far as the Browning/Rossi thing, I answered that...

I think my new stray cat may be a big one!

Something to compare the size of the track with besides a mystery red disc would help me. Or telling us the size of the disc.

    Inherited.38special L frame

About your ammunition question: It's safe with any .38 S&W Special (not .38 S&W, which is different and darn confusing, I know) ammunition. I don't think S&W certified guns for +P until later in that decade, but plenty of people used it then with handloads, and some do with factory loads now...

    Fixed sight, 4" model 29

I saw a commercial 3" 629 with fixed sights around the turn of the century. In fact one of my earliest posts on this forum was why would anyone want one. Shows you how much I know.
