    15-3 snub

I am in search of some nice wood grips suitable for ccw. It's a little harder with a square butt.

    15-3 snub

Yes, the prices are very reasonable. I appreciate that you know where you are in your journey, and have chosen what works for you. I have painted the front sight red, but do wish it had a white outline rear. Maybe I can change the blade. If you send it in, you won't be disappointed.

    15-3 snub

I don't know the exact process of the Metalife process, but I have only read positive things over many, many years. Ron is a very nice guy too, as well as his wife.

    15-3 snub

Pre pic of the damage.New finish is Metalife hard chrome. After this pic, I fired 75 rounds. No hint of a turn line. Very hard. And this was after I smoothed it out!

    15-3 snub

So about 6 mos. ago, I picked up a 15-3 snub from a co-worker, sight unseen. I offered 300, even though he said it was a mdl. 10. What he had was a very poorly stored revolver, no box, with some minor rust and pitting. The previous owner apparently decided he could remove some pitting on the...

    66-5 3.25" Hi Viz - Engraved

I had the same exact model for a while. They are very nice. I had a custom IWB holster made by AKJ Concealco just for it. If you might be interested in it, I can send pics.

Need OWB holster for 686 ssr Pro Series 4 1/8?

Thanks for the replies. I will be getting a 1791 holster for Christmas!

Is this normal on my 686?

I hope you didn't hit that with Mother's yet. With a green Scotch pad, I would have that looking near as nice as an early stainless finish in about an hour. Then maybe...a soft hit with the Mother's.

Need OWB holster for 686 ssr Pro Series 4 1/8?

I'm worried about a closed bottom holster being too tight due to the extra 1/8 inch barrel.

Need OWB holster for 686 ssr Pro Series 4 1/8?

Will most standard 4" holsters work with this, or would it be a special order? Any recommendations? Thanks.

    GP100 vs 686

Smith=beautiful woman - Yeah, ok. Gonna hump that thang anytime soon? :) Smith=better firing mechanism (I thinks) - Huh? Smith=better cylinder release - I totally disagree. I have more S&W's than Rugers, but I can't fault them other than the heavier stock trigger.

    Ruined 342ti ?

Refinishing it in factory form just makes it refinished anyway, and it will never be as valuable if it were in original factory form, so just continue carrying it is my opinion.

    242 Ti

The frames are aluminum. Not scandium. I love the profile of my 296. I passed on a mint 242 years ago for cheap and have kicked myself since.

Smith Brings back the Model 66!!!

I don't mean to speak for the poster here, but it might be because it is a more direct way of striking the primer instead of having a middle man so to speak.

    S&W 638- advice?

To me, it's worth the price of the grips and the rest (gun) is nothing I would own. But CA is unique, and I don't know if you have to have that dash # or what. (List?) Good luck with that. I'm looking for a no lock 638, and it seems pretty scarce. I'll find one eventually for 400 or so. :)

    You're Gettin' a J Frame....38 or 357...Your Pick??

I'd skip over the .357 in a J, due to the fact that I had a steel frame 640 and recoil was bloody hard. And I mean that literally. My perfect J would be (and I have a 642) a 638, no lock with +P's.

2 Desantis Scabbards for 3" K frame fixed sight-BOTH SOLD

I have 2 of these. They are tan colored and stamped "13" on the rear. No thumb break. They are in excellent functional shape. Leather is still stiff, but they're a little ugly from being bumped around the gun safe for years. I used them a little when I had a model 13 and 65 in 3". They will NOT...
