    My opinion is if you can get any Model 19 K frame for less then $500 in good condition buy it.:) The lock does not bother me but most of my revolvers are in fact pre-lock!:D Ed

    CM Cylinder won't swing out

    My problem with identical symptoms-I had to take off side plate, take out cylinder release and cleaned it up. It was all gummed up from sitting for years. Possible the ejector rod has come unscrewed a little instead. Ed
