Question: how do you control trim length, since the 460 case is longer, therefore, the 45cal pilot is to short to prevent over trimming? Thanks, L.P.

What is your set up for this? I have a RCBS Trim Pro. Do they make a collet for the 460? I also have a Lyman EZ trim, but do they make a pilot for the 460? Any help greatly appreciated. L.P.

ruggyh, I have to give you the credit for the choice of 300 XTP MAG and 4227 combo. I got it from you. I love how the 4227 meters.

Update: I used a piece of feeler gauge .018 thick to shim the front portion of scope rail and was able to zero my reloads (300gr XTP MAG over IMR 4227 39.0gr) at 50 yds. I still need a lot of practice to be more consistent.
