I had my first eye done two weeks ago and my other eye done yesterday. My wife picked up two pairs of prescription readers at Walgreens a few minutes ago. Here I am and can see better than I have for years.

45 Winchester magnum brass “stretched 45acp brass “ Loaded to 45 Colt specs,” in moon clips put the bullet right up to the forcing cone. I have a 1916 vintage British MK II HE with post war 45acp cylinder and barrel that is quite accurate.

As a LEO, I bought a model 58 back in 1966 for $81.00 including a box of shells. I carried it for 13 years. It did what it was designed to do and I never felt the need to try a 44 magnum. The 41 magnum cartridge handled my every need.

What WYO said. I carried either a govt model or CCO model 1911 for 20 years in Wyoming. I will just say that a 10mm is a very effective round for most anything you might encounter.
