    Banned Firearm

That's a far out theory. Human error is the factor in 60-80% of workplace accidents and that jumps to 94% of auto accidents. I will say that people in general don't want to admit fault and that goes double for cops and pilots. I'm still awaiting proof that the product was at fault or whether...

    Banned Firearm

Up to 80% of aircraft accidents are because of human error...just sayin'.

    Banned Firearm

I wouldn't belong to a gun club that banned a handgun based upon hearsay and is in wide use. Have they banned Colt 1903 pistols or series 70 or pre-series 70 1911's. Have they banned Ruger Blackhawks that were made prior to the safety bar and not modified? Have they banned original Colt...

Wadcutters were developed for target revolvers with LONG barrels

Wadcutters were developed for target revolvers with LONG barrels

With target shooting, accuracy is what matters most and to a lesser degree, mild recoil. I see a lot of folks post velocity stats, but no accuracy at significant distances. I guess that they have to try to justify those $500 chronographs, to themselves somehow!

    Another interesting scam

I'm sorry. I couldn't watch the whole video. It was too painful. Crooks really love to prey on senior citizens, because they are easy targets, being weak in the body and mind, however there are exceptions.

Sig found liable for gun discharge

IDK, Ruger, S&W and Glock weathered their storms. Even Remington survived their Model 700 rifle difficulties. Of course Ruger ended up having to print a paragraph on their barrels and S&W conceded the IL. Of course everyone and anyone has instant access to the internet and can make any claims...

How the Brits deal with extreme speeders

Louisville, KY has stiffened up their laws regarding street takeovers, drag racing and other antics with vehicles. They seize violators' rides and arrest the drivers. They've seized a lot of Dodge muscle cars lately. I seems to have had some impact. On another topic, I've noticed that some...

Three 45acp Cases Split On Me Yesterday

I was loading 9mm with nickel plated brass. After loading them many times, I started to get quite a few split. Being flush with free 9mm brass, I started leaving all the 9mm nickel plated brass at the indoor range, where they collect and sell it to a scrap yard.

I HAVE FINALLY RAISED THE SURRENDER FLAG IN RELOADING 45ACP

I'm on my last few pounds of Bullseye, which has been my go to powder for decades, and as you say, is scarce as hens teeth. I just bought some Titegroup. It'll be my new go to powder for .45 ACP, 9mm and .38 SPL and 12 ga. shotgun. BTW, High Gun is the same powder as Titegroup and may be...

    Ammo brands you avoid

I used to agree with you about Remington .22 LR ammo. Recently, I bought a bucket of their Remington SV ammo. It is very reliable and accurate. Looks like Remington is turning things around.

Three 45acp Cases Split On Me Yesterday

I've seen Remington new factory .45 ACP brass split lengthwise in the middle. It isn't uncommon for Precision (Bullseye) pistol competitors to reload .45 ACP brass so many times that the case head markings disappear. Chuck the split cases and carry on. I do like that the .45 ACP cases "call out"...

Sig found liable for gun discharge

There is a lot of speculation about Sigs and some is pure hogwash. One thing is for sure, lawyers can easily switch back and forth regarding their support or distain of any case depending on who is paying. Another thing is that lawyers can get extremely verbose where a few words would do. Look...

    Best gun lubricant

When FP-10 was new, I saw a live demo of its lubricating properties compared to a lot of other gun oils. It made me a believer! That being said, any good quality gun oil will work. For rust prevention, I use a silicone cloth, but Eezox and Corrosion X are good too.

    Interesting landing today

Actually water weighs 8.34 lbs. per gallon, unless it is heavy water. That .34 lbs. would be important for someone calculating the weight and balance for an aircraft. I just had to nitpick didn't I?

Holy Cow!!! 55th high school reunion

I attended 3 different high schools, 3 different junior high schools and 2 different grade schools. My high school graduating class was over 600. I don't have many that remembered me and most of them have passed. I joined the Army within days of graduating and was mostly away from the area. The...
