Yes.... But no mention of it elsewhere. I would have thought that they would be advertising it somehow... As a new product, like they do for all of their other weapons. And via this post seems to be the 1st anyone has mentioned that it may exist to my knowledge. But maybe not...

Yeah, i agree... I was more interested in the fact that it was a new model and if anyone had details on availability... There doesn't seem to be any info on their website.

Is there is a new sport II coming out? I have seen it on several gun dealers websites. It has a forward assist and dust cover. It's not on the S&W site that I can find anyhow....

OK... I added a couple of more pics. I hope you can see the serial number location on the grip handle. This number matches the number inside of the crane. Like I mentioned, there are other stampings on the gun handle when you take off the grips, but they are not serial numbers and there are no...
