Based on Scout II's input there are two varieties of grips for the 58-1.Will wonders never cease??

Curious why they didn't trelease with the grips shown in the catalog/flier. Only S&W knows and they aren't saying!!

My 'guess' is the 'burying' the rear sight requires more CNC time and hence they don't do it. IMO

I picked this one up on GB. The grips are NOT like those shown in SCS&W #5[no pics in SCS&W #4]. Anyone else have one of these in blue or nickel with their grips? Thanks for responses! I like them don't get me wrong.

When I was reloading[don't anymore], I used the Harrell's for pistol only[the 'cup' was sized for smaller loads] and I liked it. FWIW

Not to diminish your issue - I believe the 24-3's were released a fair amount of time gone by. They're nothing current which is the topic of the initial post here. Hope you have success.

Just another sad case of current quality! With all the issues listed here in the forum I doubt many would check elevation or windage screws for 'working' before completing the purchase. :mad:
