What was your first Smith and Wesson??

Back in the mid-late 70's nice S&W's were scarce in Southern California, I was a relative newbie, a neighbor friend took me under his wing and introduced me to Al Wisser, who he and his brother and sister ran the Wisser's Gunshop in Anaheim. Al took a liking to me and one day he asked me to...

    627's on,,,

Gotta love the M627 8-shooters...... The original guns, like the M627-0 above were shipped with unfluted cylinders, BUT - Clint Eastwoods version (the Bloodwork gun) had a fluted cylinder - and it looked great. Sooooo, the three M627 8 shooters (above) went back to the PC to have the fluted...

3.5” 27-2 (but what are these stocks?)

My preference on the 3 1/2" M27 would be Craig Spegel's Short Targets. They fit just right and look good too. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/800x357q90/r/923/YJkebv.jpg Note: The Registered Magnum in the pic is wearing it's numbered Magnas..... :>) Hoping the link works, haven't...

    Smith & Wesson PC Model 13-4 Serial Numbers HPC0001 & JPC0001 Together Again !!!

Nice old Zombie thread, found this while searching info about the PC13 revolvers... :) My photos aren't showing up since my photo company has changed a couple times since this thread was started. Tease of a 19-3...

Nice gun. You could always make it into a 5" barrel. Would be pretty cool, the lettering on the barrel looks to be off center a bit towards the cylinder. An inch off would make it a bit handier..... Just sayin.... :)

**FOUND** .22 Jet insert wanted (just one)

A friend of mine just purchased a M53 .22 Jet revolver, it has the two cylinders, box, etc. Unfortunately the .22LR inserts for the Jet cylinder is missing one, he only has 5. Does anyone have an extra insert? Please text me if you do and what kind of $$ he'd have to spend to complete his...

    686 +

As noted above, likely a later model than the published books show. The best thing to do is call the S&W factory. Click on the link to customer service. They will tell you the month and year of shipping, not manufacturing, but the two dates will likely be close. Here's the number -...
