I wasn't quite sure if it was a +P round or not. I just assumed it was since most of the short barrel ammo i've seen is +P.

Anything is better than nothing but, in the .380 caliber your best bet would be a flat nosed FMJ as long as it feeds reliably. If it doesn't feed go with a round nose FMJ. Deep penetration should be your concern.

The short barrel bullet is tweaked to provide expansion at lower velocities. Is it the +P pressure that worries you?
