I know they are discontinued, but the Dan Wesson ECO pistols are great, including the 9mm version. Like all the DW products I have encountered, they are reliable, accurate, and beautifully made and finished. Thank goodness I had enough sense to buy both this and the .45 version.

I’m a whole lot happier with 14 rounds of .380 than I am with five .38s, and have a far better chance of hitting the target with this Beretta 84, too.

This subject of close encounters is why I have become so enamored with a Colt Pony Pocketlite lately. Termed Colt’s answer to the Seecamp, it is a DAO version of the Mustang. Neat little pistol and apparently not too popular.
