I have a K frame and the cyl release won't go forward. It's like it's already forward. Cyl. wont open. How do I remedy this?

Wouldn't trust wadcutter at std.vel. Have a good friend who's a vet. Ocassionally he'll have to put a steer down. One one animal he used target wadcutters to the cows forehead. After 2 rounds that failed to penetrate he had to resort to a centerfire rifle (only other gun he had with him).

Rifle primers are taller than pistol primers. The primer pockets are deeper in rifle cases. About 30 years ago I tried using rifle primers in 357 mag loads. The primers were sticking out enough to bind the cylinder on a stainless blackhawk revolver.

the required twist for the long 148gr hbwc is 10, i thought the 14 and 52, which are intended for target work, would have 10" twist but i would like that verified.

I saw a neat rubber grip on a mod. 10 ppc gun at a gunshow this weekend. It was longer than normal. It had 2 attachment screws, 1 at the bottom and 1 just behind trigger guard. It had no markings on it. I really liked the feel of this grip but don't know the mfg. Can anyone help?
