SNAP-ON RATCHETS NO LONGER MARKED "MADE IN USA".

Was not that long ago you had your hammer thread going with bad information. The first Dual 80's were marked with coo on the head. Then they were not marked at all. Snap On's web site stated USA as coo. Much has been written and discussed about why they were not stamped with coo. Because of the...

DISCOVERED AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT DEAD BLOW HAMMERS

Oh, my Chapman is fowl smelling. I keep the kit in my range bag. If you google smelly screw drivers you will find a lot of stuff. Here is the one I was thinking about. Plus one you posted in on this forum. Patrick Any tricks on keeping screwdrivers from stinking? - Page 2 - The Garage...

DISCOVERED AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT DEAD BLOW HAMMERS

I use Wrights , Snap On are to expensive, haha. Think this subject has been recently discussed over there, something to do with the handle material. I will see if I can find it.

DISCOVERED AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT DEAD BLOW HAMMERS

Not my intent to get into a tool debate on a gun forum. But to say Snap On makes very little of their own tool line is incorrect. Not talking Blue Point or any of their other brands. Their website lists country of origin for each of their tools. I look before I buy or order anything. Yes, some...

DISCOVERED AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT DEAD BLOW HAMMERS

Have you been hanging out on the Garage Journal? Trusty Cook is a member and run specials on their hammers from time to time. A couple of the guys over there are total hammer junkies and have sets of different colored dead blow hammers. Trusty Cook did in fact make Snap On's dead blows, but I am...

    Mod 70 Winchester in 9mm

I can't see any number at all, but I am using my phone. The reason I ask is Rule shows at least 5 different 9mm rifles in his book. One of them is 42191. Patrick

Buffalo Bore 125g .357 mag ammo safe in 686?

Their description for that load says safe in all steel revolvers including J frames. Yes, they do show 1700 feet per second out of a 6 inch GP100. Notice the 4 inch L frame beats the 5 inch N frame by 60 fps? Patrick

    Let the bloodbath begin

You can not hardly make a post on any of open carry threads without name calling, can you? You remind me of a rabid coon, foaming at the mouth and snapping, snarling and growling. Go back through just this thread and count how many times you called fellow gun owners idiots, tools and dumb. Are...

Gun show find: Savage 99 circa 1935

If a person can find a Savage 1899/99 that does not have extra holes, recoil pad or a major crack/split in the butt stock, grab it. I love old Winchesters but prefer the Savage over the Winchester 1894/94. Patrick

Gun show find: Savage 99 circa 1935

Rotary magazine in the first ones with a cartridge counter on the side of the receiver. First ones were brass then steel. Also there was a detachable box magazine later on. If my link works you should see lots of 99 pictures...

    Philadelphia LTCF Victory

It is a License To Carry Firearms (LTCF), not a conceal carry permit. Said LTCF allows you to carry concealed, open carry in a vehicle and a city of first class. Patrick

    Texas needs to catch up.

Driving a Shelby makes a person look ridiculous? I was not aware of that, thank you. Ya never know what you will learn on the internet. Do you have a link to the study that backs this up? Maybe we can get a law passed to crush them. Patrick

    Texas needs to catch up.

This getting off topic, but I have to disagree with this. Pa passed the Uniform Firearms Act to prevent towns, cities and counties from passing their own laws. Philly got a few exceptions because of the city of first class status. With out the UFA traveling across the state or even town to town...

    Texas needs to catch up.

Is there a scientific study that backs this up, or is this your opinion? Patrick
