Thanks everyone for the replies. I have tried the push/pull method before and it didn't work. However, the video shows it a little different. I will try all of your suggestions and let you know I make out.

I cannot rack the slide on my new M&P compact 9mm. I have tried many different techniques and I still can't do it. I am in a wheelchair. Does anyone know if anything can be done to "lighten" the pull? Any replies appreciated. Cheryl

I just purchased a round-cut Mika holster from another forum member for my S&W 442. Is it ever comfortable! My gun all but disappears in the pocket of my jeans even with a Hogue Monogrip on it. I highly recommend this holster for anyone who carries a j-frame concealed.

Model 34 grips Thanks everyone for the help. Finally got the grips off. They are serial numbered to the gun! Want to put these away and find something for target shooting. Any ideas? BTW, anyone know how much these grips are worth?

model 34 HI, Thanks for the input and pictures. Since my OP, the price has dropped to $699 firm. When I asked why the price is so high, I was told it was a 5 screw-pinned and recessed gun. Does this make the deal sound any better?
