Thanks again,
Another thing is, this piece has had some work done to it. I don't have a trigger scale but it has one of the lightest and smoothest da pulls I've come across. Way lighter than my 396 44 special. I just put a few rounds of magtec steel cased 45 acp through it. Maybe the action job...
Hmmm, thanks, I really appreciate the resource this forum is. I was hoping this was just an anomoly. I'm gonna try to get out tomorrow to put a few rounds through it, see what happens.
Thanks again
Thanks, I've only put a few rounds through it, will do some serious shooting this weekend and will let you know how I make out. I wondered about the clip.
Any of you folks out there have any problems with misfires using full moon clips? I just got a 325 used with full moon clips and had one misfire do to a shallow fireing pin strike.
anybody else?

Photoman,LOL, thanks but I've done that before, had an airlite 357, got through 1 cylinder full before bleeding.
Plus p ammo is quite comfortable in it.
Stock rubber (ugly grips on it now) Any suggestions for good looking grips that will work against the recoil?
I'm looking for a 230 grain bullet at about 1000fps, significantly less than a full power 44 mag. Using it for woods walking and general plinking fun. Using 45acp most of the time and I don't reload. Just want to have the extra power if I need/want it.
I have a 629 PC Extreme,,, I think. Anybody have some more on this model? It's got a 12" barrel, and sling studs on the barrel and the but. It's PC gun, but I have no other info.
Any help?
Thanks,
Craig
