I used to use the Tru Oil method, but a few years ago switched to spray lacquer. Have done semi and gloss. If I need to do something between coats, use wet or dry 400, or 800 grit. (just sure surfaces are dry before proceeding. Bob

I am "TIGHT". Would be interested at $700 ish. Had a 3" 65, and did not why everyone raves about them so much. Personal preference I guess. Have had snubbies, 2" and 2.5" which worked out fine. Do have a 64-3, 4". Bob

Check on Ebay for another set. Good deals once and a while. Regardless they won't number to your gun. Factory K Frame Target Stocks (sold or ordered by dealer) are marked KT 357. I have a N Frame set marked NT 357. NO serial #. Bob

I have original S&W Stocks for my N frames and others. Much better for my grip are Herrett Target Stocks. Not Ahrends or Culina etc. but a good alternative. Bob

My 625 is newer but that does not keep me from liking it. 625-8 JM. And I use RIMZ Poly Moon Clips. Do have Ranch Product clips as well. Bob
