    My Dad used to stop at the factory outlet store whenever he was in Utica to buy factory seconds. We found a bunch of these knives while clearing his house after he passed away. My steak knives are Utica.

    Mossberg 500AB?

    My first shotgun is a Mossberg New Haven 600AT bought at a NY Jamesway store. It came with the select-a-choke barrel. My only problem with this shotgun was with the plastic safety button which I replaced with a metal one. Got a slug barrel and took two deer with it.

    PeteC, thanks for the answer. My grands parents emigrated from the Carpathian mountain region. I have later photos from the 60s but have no clue who the people are. The answers died with my dad and his siblings.

    The revolver was surrendered to the state police for destruction. The several number was removed from the rear of the cylinder.

    I did a quick glance at the cylinder and bottom of grip and didn't notice anything. I did notice a P on the frame between the cylinder and top strap. I'll do a closer inspection when I visit next time.

    My elderly neighbor has a WW II era pistol. It's not blued but looks to be parkerized which has worn down to bare metal in spots. I have found 2 different serial numbers. One is on the crane and the other on the pistol underneath crane. Neither have a V. Which is the correct serial number?
