Mine also does not have SR# on the grips, but I contacted tho original owner who purchased the gun NIB and he told me these were the original grips that came on the gun.

The SR# is: S2660xx. I shot 38spl and .357 through the gun and it shoots great.Trigger is a little tight for my taste, but shoots great.

So you guys are telling me these are not the original grips for this gun?

I am not a S&W handgun guy. I had a couple years ago and sold them.I purchased a M&P AR 2 yrs ago, and have purchased several more since.This is the first S&W revolver I have owned in 15 years.I had an idea what is was worth, but like I said I am not a S&W expert.
