I have a SIG 1911, two P239's, a West German State Police P6/P225, and a P227. All hammer fired steel/alloy slides and frames. No issues with any of them. Good guns in my opinion. Don't do SIG, S&W, Springfield, Ruger, etc. plastic. Glock got it right with the plastic IMHO. De Oppresso Liber
