    New Model 64 problem?

Hi Everyone, been awhile but I picked up a brand new S&W model 64 4 inch for 38 spl +p. The gun looks perfect and the lock up is great but I think I noticed a problem. The hammer sits to the left in the hammer slot and is ever so slightly rubbing on the frame. I don't think I can really notice...

New Old M&P 5 screw question

Hi Guys, Quick question, I have a M&P 38 5 screw I picked up in like mint condition, looks hardly fired. I have put about 100 rounds through it the last few days and noticed one thing, there is some very small copper chips inside the barrel down the lenght of the barrel. They come right out...

    Better choice?

Thanks guys for the info, I went ahead and put the older one on layaway. The gun looks to be about 98% for 475.00 bucks. Anything important to check to make sure its mechanically sound? I have read about end shake, rotational play and lock-up. Im just not an expert!

    Better choice?

Hello, Looking for some opinions. My local shop has two revolvers I have been eyeballing getting ready to put one on layaway. The first one is a 98% S&W M&P 38 post war and the other one is a used but new never fired S&W 64 38 with lock. I love the looks of the older one, looks hardly fired...

    Question on a 2 inch 10-7

I found a LNIB 10-7 with a 2 inch barrel complete with box and paperwork for 450 bucks. Does that sound reasonable? Any idea when it might have been made the serial number on the butt is 4D17XX4. Any reason to steer clear of this gun? Thanks for any input!
