Have there been any reports about how the pistol is faring with the new M1152 ammo? That load is pretty hot, around 39,000 psi.

I had a 92FS until I transferred it to my son. I liked the gun, even though the grip was just a tad too wide for my dainty hands. My son, who has Shrek hands, loves it. I would not be against acquiring another, but my atrophied 75-year-old mind can't decide on an M9 or a 92FS.:unsure:

Yup. 9mm is relatively cheap and since I shoot it infrequently, only when I have the urge to shoot either of my two Hi Powers, I can't be bothered reloading it. Most of my range guns are revolvers. Very relaxing and no brass to sweep up.

5" Model 27-2 would be nice. I've seen them on line occasionally; at scalpers' prices which I refuse to pay.

I'm not sure why you would want to abuse a revolver as nice as a 36 with +p. Use standard velocity and learn to shoot it well.

I am no expert, but it just doesn't "look" right. If there's doubt, don't. I would walk away. The internet is a great place from which to unload guns, that won't otherwise sell, to unsuspecting buyers. Temptation notwithstanding, I won't buy a gun I can't examine FIRST before fronting money.

Model 34-1 here. Try other brands of ammo first.

Reblue/refinish or not, it's a lovely gun.
