    Horsehide 1903 Colt Hammerless

Trying to find horsehide, cross draw and IWB, holster makers for a 1903 Colt Hammerless. I know Karmer does but that is the only make I can find that shows the 1903 Colt. Several do horsehide just not the 1903. I have several Karmer holsters but the wait time is very long now.

    Rethinking 32 S&W long ---‐-‐-‐‐--‐---‐---‐-----‐-

Will the .32 Long/ACP was a good round till the gun magazines needed to sale magazines. If using a .32 you do pelvic shots not head shots. You break the pelvic the person goes down then you can do the head or body shot. Read ME reports from major cities where the .32 was used, gives you a...

I am lucky as I can step out the back door and shoot steel or paper out to 200 yards. My EDC for many years was a form of the 1911, at about 60-61 years old Arthritis hit my hands. I went from .45ACP to 9mm to .32ACP/6.5 Browning. For the last 40 years I have shoot my EDC once a week or more...

Look at the Navy Battle Ships. Their big guns used black powder even during the 1970's. It was not stored in a air tight compartment.

    Shoulder harness versatility...

I went through looking for one harness for several different gun holsters. It is not worth it. You never get the adjustment right first time after changing the holster. Not being able to use lock tight can give you lost parts. It cost to go with a complete rig per gun but makes life easier...

Is the 40 S&W, by nature, a snappy round?

No the .40 is not a snappy round to me. It is a very stepped down 10mm with a short case. When the FBI went to 10mm carry they found that the women and a bunch of city boys did not have the muscle in their arms and wrists to be able to shoot the 10mm well. The .40 was developed to reduce the...

    Sig Modifications?

I sent mine back to Sig for a rebuild. Total take down, cleaned, new springs, and replaced all worn parts. Was the best money I spent on the gun. They had to replace the trigger so it ended up with the smoothest action of any Sig I have ever fired. Action almost as good double action as my...

    ccw in scrubs

In Indiana signs have NO POWER, no law behind them. If the hospital does not house a prisoner with an armed law enforcement officer guarding them you may carry but if asked to go you must or you can be charged with Trespassing. If you work there you can be fired for having a gun in the hospital.
