    Confiscated Firearms

Apparently "back in the day" there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the "chain of custody"! I heard of a Chief that retired and took with him a small collection of really nice handguns that were supposed to have been destroyed. He was charged with harboring contraband and theft under color of...

Pretty sure I saw this same gun years ago in the Orange County Register (Ca). It was referred to as a "semi-automatic-assault- revolver"! :)

    Buying on-line

Yes, several! All were as described and fairly priced. However I did have one stolen while in transit at the UPS regional center in Louisville, KY. Turns out there was a criminal enterprise working there and switching labels to an accomplice. Since I wasnt the shipper UPS wouldn't talk to me...

About once a year magazines get a sonic cleaner bath. No disassembly is required. Once cleaned compressed air finishes the cleaning and drying. 9mm mags also get feed lips recalibrated!

Recovered 5906 damaged by the police.

From a previous post: "All police departments do not have the same policies on handling of seized property or items of evidence, particularly with guns. Many rural departments have no written, official policy at all, or at least they didn’t used to a few years ago. I know this from personal...

Recovered 5906 damaged by the police.

Property marked as evidence will.not be handled by a "property room attendant"! Evidence is sealed in boxes, envelopes or bags and is only handled by authorized personnel. Signed in and signed out. Once released from "evidence" property is returned to its rightful owner, destroyed or auctioned...

Bodyguard 2.0 easier on older hands

The source of the jams could be traced back to the hand surgeries and arthritis. A few hundred rounds and a little more hand strength might just solve reliability issues. :)

    Home Brew FBI Load Fail

Miami shoot out! Never take pistols to a rifle fight! Armed engagement must be approached with overwhelming firepower and superior tactics! And as mentioned maintain good communications with adjacent agencies. These observations also apply to the LA Bank Robbery! :)

Pretty inflamatory! You must not know very many. How many ride alongside have you been on. Just getting hired and graduating from an academy proves that you are way above average in terms of intellect and integrity! 😞
