Let's see your Law Enforcement Marked Smiths!

Here's a Mass. State Police 65-2 3" I picked up at an estate sale. I also have a couple of unmarked 64-5 LEO trade ins. Both 4" DAO, one a round butt and the other square.

    17-3 and 14-2 auction pickups

Sorry the images are out of order. I had to resize some of them to get them to post. The gun with the Magna grips is the 17-3. It has a standard hammer and trigger. The smooth grips are on the 14-2. It has the target hammer that looks polished.

    17-3 and 14-2 auction pickups

Thanks. It's pretty much a nice, shooter grade so I'm not concerned. Are those stocks factory? They are the only ones that I couldn't find a serial number on out of the bunch from this auction I bought.

    65-3 3" and a 649-3 .357 auction pickups

I was very fortunate to stumble upon these. I never thought I would find a 3" gun I could justify buying. There was a pristine 19-2 3" in the box in the same auction. I would have loved to pick that one up but it didn't go cheap.

    342 Ti and a 37-2

This one is so nice I may just keep it in the safe. I have a 442 Pro series I pocket carry daily. Its almost as light and I don't mind using it as it is easily replaceable.

    342 Ti and a 37-2

Here are a couple of guns recently added from an auction. The 342 came with the box, case, papers etc. and looks to be unfired. The 37-2 is in very good condition as well. It came with rubber Pachmayr grips that I replaced with the wood ones.

    17-3 and 14-2 auction pickups

I picked up a 17-3 and a 14-2 at an auction recently. They are both in pretty nice condition with the numbered stocks on the 17-3 but no boxes etc. They both show some holster wear but have not been abused. The 14-2 has a polished stainless target hammer. The trigger has the usual "case...

    65-3 3" and a 649-3 .357 auction pickups

These are a couple more of the guns I picked up at an action. The 65-3 is one of the Mass. State Police guns. The 649-3 is a 357 mag version. Both are in decent condition. The 65-3 stocks are original. I don't know if the 649-3's are or not. Either way, I really like these two guns and they will...

    22/32 Kit Gun and 37

I've been mostly lurking on the forum for a few years but rarely if ever have posted. But, I recently picked up a few revolvers at an auction and thought I'd post them. These are two that belong is this pre-1961 forum, I think . They came with stocks numbered to the guns but without boxes, etc...

    calling all fighter pilots...

I flew fighters in the USAF (F16's in Europe) in the mid 80's and it was the same situation. We only carried sitting alert and during exercises or during a few other times they (someone of a higher rank than me) decided we might need them (like flying over remote parts of Turkey where they had...

New J Frame Pro Series Revolvers

Hi, new guy here but I was just looking at the 2010 catalog I downloaded off of the S&W website and it lists the new 640 pro series as having no internal lock. It's Product: 178044 I hope that helps. PS I have one of the 442 pro series no IL guns on the way to my FFL as we speak. :p
