    Info needed about a 36-6 3" Target

I picked one up when they were in production for CCW. Had no idea it was rare at the time. Had it tuned by Andy Cannon and put a Guy Hogue custom mesquite stock on. Nice gun but it is rare enough so I don't carry it anymore.

    Motorcycle Seat Advice

I put a Mustang on my Vulcan 900. With the stock seat I could go about 1 hour before my tailbone would start in, after that initial hour I would have to get off the bike every 20 minutes or so. With the Mustang I can easily go 3 hours take a 5 minute break and go another 3 hours. The Mustang is...

Best moon clips for 327 TRR8

I use .025 clips from TK Custom and either Federal or Remington brass. I'm told that Starline will work in .025 clips too but haven't tried any.

moving my herd east, looking for advice

When I moved from Maine to Arizona last year it took me through several anti-2A states, especially in New England. I had a collection plus 6 cats to move across. I planned my route to avoid as many anti states as I could. My solution was, I rented an RV. Put my handguns in silicone gun socks...

What was your first Smith and Wesson??

My first was a 4" M19, no idea of the dash but it was P&R. Paid $125 and wish I still had it. Been downhill ever since!

Gunsmith for barrel cut and profile change

I picked up a 629 in Tucson that had the profile changed, as I bought it this way I don't know who did the work. Really nice job though, beautifully done. Being as it was Tucson, two high profile smiths in Phoenix, Nelson Ford and Frank Glenn maybe? I just had Nelson Ford fit a cylinder for me...

Pawn shops Are Great Places To Shop

I rarely go into pawn shops. When I do it seems like a treasure trove of plastic. I don't think I've ever seen a revolver of any kind in one!

    929 feedback requested

I've had one for awhile. Shot a lot of matches with it and have had no issues other then knocking down steel, but that is the cartridge not the gun! Accuracy and function is fine.

How to bring revolver shooters back to IPSC?

I always shoot revolvers in matches, and 99% of the time I'm the only one, I've done this for years. All my guns I compete with are cut for moonclips which makes them more competitive. I don't shoot much anymore, just matches, I don't practice at all, and I can usually end up in the middle of...

Smith and Wesson life time warranty and Customer Service experiences .

I bought my first M29 in 1980. I was 20 at the time and every round that went through it was a 240 SWC over 22 grains of 2400. After many of these rounds the end of the center pin mushroomed and it was hard to open the cylinder. Contacted the factory shipped it back and they totally rebuilt the...

    IPhone to Android

I always had Galaxy phones. It seems like they all would die within a couple years. Last one cost almost $1500, just over a year later there was an upgrade that bricked my $1500 phone, the only thing I could use it for was calls. No internet access unless I was on a network. No cell data at all...

Mini Rant - Drive right, pass left!!

I agree with this rant 100%, pass in the left and travel in the right. I also agree with the rant about people not yielding on on ramps. Half the time people don't even look to see if there is any traffic. If the left lane is clear I will always move over and let them merge. If I have a traffic...

Motor oil and filters for our cars - I have finally come to my senses and become practical in my old age

I spent 34 years as the parts manager at a Toyota dealer. I use oem parts for pretty much everything on my cars and bikes including oil filters. There are a few things that I will use aftermarket parts for but not many, experience has shown me that you can't beat oem for fit and quality. As far...

    Basic vehicle tool kit?

Just an FYI, my 2017 Mustang came with the pump, but I want a spare. I bought a spare tire kit from Ford, came with a space saver tire on an alloy wheel, wheel wrench, jack and handle, and holddowns for everything. Fits in the well and I paid a little over $200. Don't know if it's still...

    Moon clips for model 610.

610's are very forgiving for moon clips. I would buy whatever I could find at a reasonable price.

    Hot day today

We cooled down a little today, it only hit 100! Throughout the week we had been between 105 to 109. It had even been staying warm at night, a couple nights it was still 90 at 11pm. By morning it would be mid 70's. I actually broke down and ran my a/c some!

    My First Mustang GT

Super nice ride! I rented Mustang convertibles every trip I made to Arizona from 2005 to 2024, 5 generations, and I think that the S550 is the epitome of Mustangs and rag tops are the only way to go.

    RCBS RockChucker -- the Agony

I do all my loading on a Rockchucker. It seems like every time I've read of a gun blowing up due to a faulty handload it was on a progressive press. I do 100 rounds at a time, using 2 50 round blocks and prime with a lee hand primer. I can check primer depth by running a finger across the primer...
