For those who wonder about shipping: FedEx says 3 day delivery from here (Kansas) to Washington State is about $37.00 so that should give you an idea. Then add whatever your FFL would charge. You need to make sure that he'll accept from a non-FFL.

Crossbreed Supertuck or Comptac MTAC are good choices. I have a MTAC...

As much as I love my M&P15A, I would rather spend the extra for the Colt. 1:7 twist barrel lets you shoot the heavier loads but still is fine for the 55 grain; HPI/MPI, lifetime warranty, better steel... when I bought my M&P the Colt was almost twice the price but not anymore... All that said...
