    KAHR 380 Experience

I have the PM9. I bought it a long time ago when it was pretty expensive. It's a great pocket carry gun. Almost as important is the holster which is a Safariland pocket holster. Thin Polymer with a little bit of fabric on it to help it stick inside your pocket. Great combo. Pretty accurate for a...

    Well…I drank the Kool-Aid today…

Good report. I might do the same thing, or maybe a Glock 48...

    My new PSA H&R M16A1

It's cool. My son has a couple of these. They are a good way to own something classic and still just as useful as they were 50+ years ago.

Question to you that have bought from the forum

You’ve received good advice already. A good friend once told me once that for business to happen you have to be willing to decide to trust someone. There’s lots of ways to buy guns. They all have an element of some risk. Don’t overthink it or you may miss out on something cool.

Like giving $$ away on my 686 snubnose

That’s handsome. Post it here and try to get your price without paying fees. You can always put in on Gb if you can’t get what you think it’s worth.

    Driving through a non-reciprocal state?

It's a dilemma alright. You just have to ignore the law sometimes when it is unconstitutional. You have a right to defend yourself at all times.

CFE pistol for .38 and .357?

I'm using CFE for 9mm, and 244 for revolver.

    Pocket Pistol

Costco has kicked my son out for not wearing a mask and also for open carry. I try not to buy anything from them. They don't respect the law or rights of people. I have a 21A and 950 too. Great guns.

Cool. Looks like a lot of fun.

    Highway Patrolman

I'd walk right past that one. The hammer and trigger have been blued. They should be case hardened. To me it indicates an amateur worked it. That's a no go for me.

    Vehicle Carry/Storage Options???

It seems like everyone where I live has a car gun. I once heard from a local cop that some kids broke into 5 cars and got a gun from each car...He picked them up on the 5th break in. In my experience, many of the emergencies requiring a gun happen in about 1 second. You won't probably be able to...

    681/686 Deal

Here's how this worked out. It's a 686-2 and a 681 no dash. So happy. 681-686 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB

Looking for pocket carry gun under $500

KAHR PM9 is my choice. There's probably better options now, but this has been my steady for over 10 years when deep conealment is necessary. Safariland makes my poly pocket holster which is very thin and grippy. The holster choice is just as important as the gun, and you may also find a pocket...

Gun for extended camping in NW states

Another Vote for the Glock in 10mm I like the capacity, light weight, and reliability, of the Glock, but there's another benefit that many often forget. The polymer guns have an inherent flexibility that makes recoil more manageable.

The Model 10 - Why the bull barrel?

I've read before that LAPD was largely responsible for the heavy barrel coming into production and favor among officers. They had a big focus on marksmanship, and the bull barrel was easier to stabilize for some shooters. I myself find it to be so as well. I have both styles and prefer the bull...

    681/686 Deal

I know this is like the dumbest place ever to ask whether I should buy something...But here goes anyway...A church member locally has a 686 and 681 for sale as a package. Price is likely fair. I don't need these, but would like to have them. I guess my question is should I buy at $1200? Thanks.

    No. 3 44-40

I had one for a while. Wish I had not sold it...Only about 800 made. Pretty scarce gun. I loaded up some lighter loads with slow burning smokeless powder. It had no problems. Just be smart. You can check my old posts on this subject. I still have 44-40 dies, bullets, and cases, if you want them...
