Never owned a Taurus revolver, but I have one of their compact auto 9mm's. It keeps up with my Sig 2022 on reliability & accuracy out to 25 yds. It has about 500 rds through it so far, no complaints. I've never had to test their service response, but over on the Taurus forums the turn-around...

Model 36/3" with Pachmayr's in a nylon Uncle Mike's....sometimes loaded with shotshells, sometimes HP, or both.... ....also like to bring along the Norinco M87 clone coach gun....loads of fun, but kind of a load to wag around.... ....forgot about the knife.....an old Boatman folding...

Another recommendation for the 586 or 686. I've had my 586 since the late 80's & wouldn't part with it. After reading this thread I see a few other models I'd like to have as well!

Nice work! I love to see something neglected brought back to life. I've brought back a couple of old tractors, but no guns....yet. :-)

1st thing she told me when she saw one in pink was "don't even think about it, mine will be black or stainless"...:rolleyes:
