Just picked up my Shield 45 from my local gun shop. I couldn't fit more than 3 rounds in either of the magazines. I had to buy an UpLula in order to fill the dang thangs. Got it done and I'm really impressed with this gun.

Thanks for your opinions. At this point I'm wondering what is the most useful upgrade to purchase. I've read where people swore by the chromed BCG. I've also read what seemed very practical advice as ammo and buis. I don't really consider that an upgrade but a necessity. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I have a universal one that I use for my 30-06, my Armscor .22, mossberg 12 guage and my baby eagle .40 S&W. However, my patch pusher (sorry don't know the technical name for it) doesn't fit my M&P 15. Any suggestions?

I don't remember where I read it (some other forum somewhere) but someone said that EoTech cancelled the licensing so Bushnell can't make any more. As I remember what the poster claimed, Eotech wants the lower end holosight gone so people have to buy their higher priced product. Not saying...

With the batteries in it weighs about a pound. I went ahead and got one for under 100 on ebay. I got it today and like it alot. This light is really bright. I don't know if it is actually 700 lumen but it's more than enough to disorient someone coming into my house.

I can appreciate that Gunfighter 9. I will be working my iron sights while I save up cash for an optic. I'm trying to decide how long I'll be saving lol. Perhaps what I heard about bushnell isn't correct then?

In deciding what type of optic I'm going to use I've been a bit torn. I want an Eotech but simply can't afford $400+ for one. I've heard that the Bushnell Holosight is made with the same internals as an Eotech. Anyone have any experience with these?
