Depends. If I'm carrying a wheelgun, it's 2 quick strips or speed loaders. If it's an auto, typically one spare mag. Location depends on my clothing for the day. Typically carry quick strips in my pocket, spare mag goes in my pocket or on my belt.

You're not the only one. I agree completely Lost Lake. I got my first S&W Auto, a 6946, for $315 last month. Now I'm hooked and I can't seem to find a good shape 3rd Gen at a decent price. They all get snatched up before I get there:mad: Guess I gotta check in more often myself. Happy hunting.

I just grabbed one on gunbroker for $315 last week. Still waiting for her arrival. You might as well get a head start on holsters and extra magazines. They both seem to be hard to come by at the moment.

I had to think twice because of the number of guns I've already bought this year and my wife does the budgeting. After 2 kids and 8 Smiths and counting, I think she's a keeper.

Don't you worry, she's getting a nice piece of her favorite rustic furniture out of the deal. And I may not be able to take them with me, but I want to leave a few for the kids. I had to build my collection from scratch but I'm hoping to start my kids off right.

The action is tight and there is almost no play in the cylinder when it's in full lock up. The gap looks good, just gotta get a gauge in there. The cokes are already removed and stored properly. I have a set of hogue rubbers on it until I find some nice replacement wood.

It's nice to be the one with a lucky find on here for once. Usually I get on here and drool over everyone else's finds. Now to wait patiently until I get out to the range eventually....

So I negotiated for $10 off, and she followed me home (Every little bit helps right?). I'm pretty sure they're coke grips, but they aren't numbered. They have some wear, most notably at the rear where the checkering is worn almost smooth to the border. Also has the widest trigger I've ever seen...

I'm not sure about the stocks or barrel length. I honestly didn't think I'd get permission from management to buy it so I only took a brief look. They're holding it for me until I can swing by later this week. Even if they aren't the correct stocks I'm pretty sure I'm in love with it already...
