Well I only own two Smith revolvers, and this is the only 4", my '52 pre-15. It called to me from showcase at the gunshop a few years ago (these things happen to me from time to time :o) and I had to have it. Wish it had the original grips..

When I bought my M&P 45 a few weeks ago I bought it with safety because it felt like my 1911s, BHP and Firestar. My comfort zone, I guess.

I found it at the local gunshop, with horrid rubber (I think hogue) grips on it and almost didn't give it a second glance. But I took it home and removed the offending rubber. Unfortunately the original grips are lost to time... So I quickly bought current grips and dug up my old Tylers and...

This one holds a special place in my heart... my first gun, bought shortly after the L.A. riots. It has been at my bedside every night since I bought it, and I will never part with it. Of course, I now have a '52 Combat Masterpiece and a brand new M&P45 keeping it company ;).
