Dry firing the sigma really requires the slide to be attached.. the tension from the stiker spring, which work in unison with the trigger springs to give the "pull" weight. with no tension on the trigger all you would do by "exercising" the trigger would be to smooth out the sear a little bit...

Yes a factory glock site will work, but it will need to be modified as if you were putting in a hi-viz sight. you could just order a set of meprolite night sights they are a factory fit for the sigma and install in minutes.

You have a decent CC you just said ya wanted a sw40ve and you already have a sw9ve with a crossbreed supertuck deluxe you can conceal a sigma pretty good I carry my sw40ve in a supertuck in the 5 oclock position and I'm a little guy works just fine.

Just a tip here, when filing the side of the base of the sight to fit the hole in the slide , if you cover the upper section with a piece of green or blue painters tape , you should be able to avoid scratching the side of the sightes... :)

sounds to me like the bullet set back on the wwb was a little much and the case neck hung up on the ramp. IE the bullet was inserted a little to far into the casing leaving a little lip that hit the ramp before feeding, can happen with mass produced ammo try using some quality ammo like...

I would try crimson trace they make one that mounts under the frame and is adjustable for point of aim I have one on my 40ve and its great.. adds a nice profile to the gun too
