Thanks trebor127! The keymod free float handguard is made by NcStar VISM (model# VMP22FFKMM). They come in both 13" and 15" (I got the 13" version). There is no gap because it includes a spacer that locks in between the receiver and handguard/barrel nut. It is made specifically for the M&P...- rdlsr1
