    Concealed carry in Post Offices

I have noticed that the front door sign indicating no guns is gone from our local post offices. The Florida district judge ruled, in 2024, that Bruen makes no carry in post offices unconstitutional.

    Equalizer EZ?

I just saw this new pistol online. Wondering if the mags will fit in my M&P 9 EZ. Doubt it, they look like double stack to single at top. It sure does look like a 9 EZ though.

    Model 10?

To have the option of using +P if I wanted to.

    Model 10?

Thanks for the data. Are these older guns capable of handling the modern .38 Special ammo? I know the M&Ps are not rated for +P but I would surmise that they are capable of digesting any other .38 Special loads.

    Model 10?

No, it is the original barrel with a serial number that matches the ones on the butt and cylinder. I do not know what happened to the finish. It could have become rusted and someone tried to "remove" the rust with an abrasive. The bore looks to be in very good shape to my eye. I will find out...

    Model 10?

Thanks. This old piece might even still be legal over there in the Democratic Peoples Republic of California. I bailed out of San Diego (loved the area and weather) in 1990 before the state became the fustercluck it is now. :(

    Model 10?

Thanks, I will pursue that time era. The frame is in very good condition but the barrel exterior is, as pictured, devoid of bluing. The action is very tight and smooth and the cylinder indexes securely. Bore appears excellent with no pitting whatsoever. Next step is a cleaning and then off to...

    Model 10?

I just received this yesterday. I believe it is some version of the old M&P. Can I get some information from the forum experts as to model and year of manufacture?:)

    Weapons World ammo

Has anyone else ordered from WW lately? They have Geco 40 180 FMJ for $197.50/500 rounds. I ordered last Sunday and called today (again) because my order is still in "processing". Lisa says they are really busy etc. This is one of the better prices I have seen lately for 500 rounds of 40. Just...

    Hollow Point Suggestions?

SD40 HP ammo My SD40 likes Fiochhi Extrema (Hornady XTP bullet) 155 grain HP as well as the Winchester Ranger LE 135 grain HP. Cabela's has both of these rounds on sale sporadically. I got the Ranger for $15.99 and the Fiochhi for $19.99. No problems yet shooting them.

Is Sigma the revolver I've been looking for?

Several of the Taurus pistols have a "strike two" capability. My 709 Slim is one example. The 24/7 G2 models have that capability as well. Misfire and simply pull the trigger to hit the primer again. My SD40 does not have that capability. Must rack the slide to set the striker. Taurus has the...

Is the M&P that much better than the SD?

SD40 I have the SD40 and am warming up to it more and more. Does anyone here know if the SD40 and SD9 barrels/mags are interchangeable? Just wondering if buying a 9mm barrel and mag would convert the 40 for shooting 9mm. Buds had the SD40LE for $320 earlier this month. That's where I got mine.

    SD40

SD40 first time out I got my SD 40 on the 19th and went to the range last Wednesday. The gun felt great in my hand and on the 7 yard range the results are not too bad for a new gun. The trigger takes some getting used to, especially if you are not familiar with striker fired guns. After about...

    What about the SD?

Scott, thanks for the response. Yesterday, I compared the trigger on an XD 9mm with my SD40. Without reservation, the trigger on the XD was smoother, lighter and just "felt better" than the SD. I look forward to the release of your SD40 improvement.

    Hawaii-Five-0

HPD sidearms Most, if not all the officers I have seen recently do carry the S&W 5906. Lived there for 12 years and have visited often. The HPD is relatively easy going and somewhat laid back so I don't know if they will make a move to 40 S&W like most mainland PDs have done.

    What about the SD?

Any more progress on the SD40 spring kit? I am a new owner of an SD40 (as of yesterday) and I don't think the trigger is bad but it is still a heavier pull than I want. Has Scott posted anymore data on his drop-in kits?
