N frame grips for small hands

I put a set of these on my Model 24-6. I have large hands and find these to be too small for me, so perhaps they would be a good choice for someone with smaller hands.

CCW Reciprocity in Washington DC!!! I hope so!!!

Well, dammit, let's mug a few of them so they see the light. (Not serious about this.) Seriously, the challenge of crime in our society is, in fact, an issue tied directly to societal norms that are accepted in significant measure by the very segment of society that suffers the most from it.,

Looking to find any value before I send it off to the father in law up north for 50 bucks serial number 191589 was MP 1906-1909 can’t find much online

Not really. They made lots of these. This one appears in decent shape. Any decent S&W 38 in good operating condition is worth $300-$400. The grips are not original, but are decent looking. Some guys might say less, but I seldom see these guns for less that $400. That said, unless you really...

    Reloading the 357

I load 14.6 grains of W296 behind 158 SJHP in my Model 19s, and 5.4 grains of 231 behind 158 gr LSWC. These are probably not much more than 38 +P loads, but the target has holes in it just the same. edited to add that these loads are in 357 brass.

moving my herd east, looking for advice

I have done this three times and I'm getting ready to do it at 4 th. What i have done in the past is take two 4x4s or 6x6s lay them in the back of the bed of the pickup truck. Lay a piece of plywood across them and put all of the guns underneath the plywood. Had all kinds of miscellaneous crap...

    629 Returns

So several years ago i got a call from a local dealer i frequented. He told me he had just taken in a 657 and a 629 and did I want to see them. I said I'd be up after work and maybe take both. When I got there, the 657 was goen. I bought the 629 for $600 out the door. My brother had been...

    S&W Model 34

I use my Model 63 as the first gun fro newbies to shoot. The triggers aren't as nice as the K frames, but the weight and overall size are very manageable for even the smallest shooters.

Newer smiths - Better In Some Ways?

Yep, gots a hole in it (pretty big hole in the barrel too.). Shoots just like my Triple Locks and 2nd model. Fit and finish, pretty much like my 357 Magnum from the 50's. Quality issues have been slipping past manufacturers forever. I bought a new Model 63 in 1981. Got it home and realized that...

What Have I Done to My Glock?

I respect your Glock resistance. I had not fired a Glock until about a year ago, and then only because my associate from Spain had never fired a handgun, and the shop I took him to rented Glocks. I shot a couple of magazines full. A perfectly acceptable tool. End of my Glock association. I am...

    Why magna grips?

This article explains how one should hold a Smith & Wesson revolver. The method described works well with Magna stocks. Personally, I prefer targets.

    32 & 38 Regulation Police

They pop up from time to time. Finding one in good original condition is difficult. I have 3 or them, all refinished. Oddly enough, the nickel one was blued originally and the blued one was nickel according to the documents I got from the historical society (2nd and 4th picture). I recently...
