I got a DENIED the other day...

On the ATF form 4473, box #17 asks for your "Unique Personal Identification Number" (UPIN) or your "Appeals Management Database Identification" (AMD ID) if applicable. You might want to look into applying for these to alleviate the confusion with the bad guys that have your same name.

    .30 Super Carry Brass Availability

I just got a smoking deal on a Shield EZ chambered in .30 Super Carry. So...I start looking around for brass to roll my own and there is none to be had. Has the flash in the pan hype/support for the .30 SC faded already?

    Front Sight Advice Needed

I've got a 2nd Model HE chambered in .44spl. that has been chopped down to a 3.5" barrel. Since it was hitting high I decided to build up the front sight with JB weld and file it down until POA & POI matched for my loads. After I measure the height & clean up the JB weld, I'm thinking of...

    Coke plant explosion

As a Millwright/Machinery mover, I worked in a lot of foundries & drop forge plants as an outside contractor. Those places were the closest thing to hell on earth and was glad to leave them when the job was done. I have tons of respect for the folks that toil away day after day in those types of...

    Reintroducing the 940

At a MSRP Of $999, I would hope that S&W got their quality control house in order. My 432UC ended up back at the mothership and it came back to my FFL with a new frame. I'm happy to report it is functioning just fine almost a year later. My 632UC had the front night sight go dead after app. 6...

    Kroil for small engine seizure

The intended use of Kroil is not to fix damage but to free stuck/rusted/frozen components, and that it does well.

    Kroil for small engine seizure

Kroil is an amazing product. When I worked in the power generating industry, we'd tear down a turbine that had been in constant service for years. The contractor would have a 5 gallon can of Kroil on the turbine deck and every fastener got sprayed down with Kroil and in some cases, heat was also...
